The importance of accessible information is just as relevant today as it was when this was written. The points raised here about transparency and data sharing are something more institutions and governments should be taking seriously. Completely off topic but as a university student dealing with a heavy workload lately I can relate to the feeling of needing the right resources and support at the right time.
